Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe


Want to make something creative and healthy with the humble chicken breast meat? If you like stuffing things such as vegetables into your chicken meat, this stuffed chicken breast recipe is for you. You will need some toothpicks for this recipe so make sure you have some around before making this dish.




Ingredients:


  • 2 chicken breast halves, pounded flat
  • 2 packets chicken broth (bouillon)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup canned mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • some paprika

Instructions:


1. In a pot, add in 1/4 cup of water and 1 packet of chicken broth bouillon. Bring to a simmer and add in the mushrooms, celery, onion flakes and sage. Let it cook for 5 minutes.


2. On a cutting board, lay the flattened chicken breasts and spread each with half of the vegetable mixture you just cooked. Roll them up and secure them with toothpicks. Arrange them on a baking dish.


3. In a bowl, add in 3/4 cup of water and the other packet of chicken broth bouillon. Mix well and and pour them over the chicken breasts. Sprinkle the top with some paprika.


4. Bake the chicken breasts for 50 minutes at 350°F (176°C).


5. Serve and enjoy!
