Orange Sauce Chicken Breast Recipe


Have you ever tried orange chicken before and wondered if you can make it at home too? Well, this orange sauce chicken breast recipe will teach you how to do that and best of all, it's healthier in many ways than the ones sold at restaurants because first of all, it uses skinless chicken breasts. You can also make it healthier just by replacing the normal ingredients with high quality organic ones.




Ingredients:


  • 4 chicken breasts halves, skinned and boned
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:


1. Preheat the skillet and add in the vegetable oil. Saute both side of the chicken breasts.


2. In a saucepan, add in the cornstarch, soy sauce, ginger, sugar, orange juice, margarine and vinegar. Stir well and cook it over medium heat until the sauce becomes thick.


3. Serve the chicken over cooked brown rice and ladle the orange sauce over the chicken. Enjoy!
